A Man Like No Other introduces us to Ty Stitt and Angela Brown. Ty Stitt is your typical bad boy professional football player. He lives to play football and enjoy life as only a professional football player can. When a close friend is murdered right before his eyes, it sends him into a downward spiral. Angela is a single mother of two children, who has suffered through an abusive relationship at the hands of her ex-husband Juan.
Being faced with possibly being suspended from the league, Ty's team sends him to get his image fixed. When their first encounter doesn't go so well, Angela washes her hands of Ty or so she thought. It wasn't until her son joins a youth football team where she runs into Ty again. Ty begs her to help him fix his life before he is kicked out of the league forever.
