By living by this philosophy, he manages to maintain a comfortable existence on the streets of Seattle as a small time drug hustler.
Black’s seventeen-year-old daughter, Tia, whose been raised out in the suburbs by her uncle, has some questions for her father. What part did he play in her mother’s heroin overdose? Why did he stop coming to visit her at her uncle’s house? And, the most important question of all, did he ever plan to cease and desist the crazy and destructive lifestyle he’s living?
When Tia manages to catch up with Black and spend some time with him, things quickly spin out of control as a gang war sucks both father and daughter into its bloody path.
