Annette and her brother were visiting their grandparents in Northern Ontario when they discover some strange rocks deep in the woods. Unfortunately for her they summon something ancient that would be better left alone.
While her brother escapes, Annette is captured by the Fair Folk, legendary and magical creatures that are believed to be myth today. Controlled by uncaring creatures who treat humans as toys to be changed, ordered and controlled to suit their inhuman pleasures, Annette is transformed into a dancer. Under the strict and violent instruction of her master, she must fight against other slaves who are jealous of their positions, face dangers that want to see her dead, and somehow keep her sanity. All the while hoping and searching for a way to leave this nightmare realm where time and reality have no place.
