It's a Jesus Thing: The Book for... - Scott Kelby

It's a Jesus Thing: The Book for Wanna-believers

If you're even a little bit curious about Jesus and the whole Christian thing and you just want someone to tell you, in plain English, short-and-sweet, what it's all about, and what He s all about, without all the religiousy-speak, then this is the book for you. It's basically a quick guide book on (a) why you might want to become a Christian; (b) what's in it for you, and (c) exactly how to become one, including the secret phrase you say to other Christians that gets you a discount at auto parts stores (ah, if only that were true) but there are lots of myths and hearsay, and all sorts of just plain wrong or outdated info out there, so this book was written to cut through all that junk and just tells it like it really is, today. Now, it's really important to know up front what this book doesn't do (and it's pretty much what makes this book different from every other book on Jesus out there), in the entire book it never quotes the Bible. Not even once (it's kind of hard to talk to people about Jesus when you say 'Ya know this book that you don t believe in...well, here s what it says…,' so the author made a conscious decision not to quote the Bible and instead, he just tells you straight up like he'd tell a friend (and leaves all the Bible-speak behind). Look, you've already come this far you re actually looking at a book about Jesus (which is awesome in itself), and so you are kind of wondering about this whole Christian thing, so all you need to do now is take that next step and add it to your cart. To make it an easier decision; 100% of the profits from this book go to the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya (it's a small orphanage that houses, feeds, cares for, and loves around 33 wonderful kids), so no matter what you're helping to feed orphans, which actually is a very Jesusy thing to do, so look, you're already on your way before you even cracked the first page. Hey, I dunno know about you, but I think there's a reason you wound up on this page, today right now, but you'll never know unless you take the next step.
