First Light - Kris Williams

"In astronomical terms, first light is the first image seen when using a new or upgraded telescope to observe the heavens. In a conversation about personal transformation, first light could also be used to describe a new breakthrough or awakening resulting from a shift in how we view our personal reality.

The intention of this book suggests that we all live inside of self-imposed limitations in our ability to express our nature joy, aliveness and creativity. It doesn’t matter if we allow our joy to be robbed from us by something as ordinary as an upset because traffic was too slow or, the disappointment we feel when looking at our imperfect bodies in a mirror; the outcome is still the same.

As a writer, I like to use everyday life situations to help the reader discover the borders and boundaries which, if left unchallenged, affect every aspect of our lives from relationships, to our health and well-being. Together, we will take a closer look at love, personal choice, our need for perfection, commitments, and confront our fear of the unknown.

Along the way, I will share with you a few insights that may sound like a page taken from your own life, or they may trigger a long-forgotten memory of a person or event that helped create who you are today.

Either way, First Light will be a fun journey of self-discovery."
