Candy Rawlins is back. This time it's to help her friend and colleague- Bang. Bang has been arrested for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, and all the evidence points to her.
As she starts to work with the lawyer representing Bang it becomes evident that powerful forces on both sides of the law, wish she would just step aside, and let Bang take the fall for Kerati's murder. Her investigation brings her back into direct contact with the Miami head of the Nuestra Sangres, Sonny Bonilla. Sonny is a psycho who threatens her very existence if she doesnt back off.
