The reader should be aware that this novel is written to be a continuation of Jane Austin’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and as such the reader should be familiar with this story before reading Miss Catherine Bennet. I have attempted to write this novel in some way representing J A's style; unfortunately, due to my own shortcomings, I have been compelled to write in a more modern style. In the prologue I offer a very brief summery of 'Pride and Prejudice', to refresh your memory. But please familiarise yourself with ‘P and P’ before continuing with this novel.
