In this historical fantasy adventure Christopher, a teenager who is killed in a car accident, becomes merged with a powerful angel, and learns it is his destiny to battle evil throughout time as the Archangel Michael. On his first mission, Michael must preserve history by stopping a demon bent on altering the fate of one of the most influential figures in human history, Jesus Christ. If he is to triumph, his two halves must reconcile their differences and learn to get along, but the half that is Christopher soon learns that the history he knows and the nature of angels and demons is not so black and white as what humankind has come to believe, and the struggle between good and evil is loaded with gray areas that may jeopardize the mission to the past.
