There are other scenarios to bible prophecy fulfillment. The standard accepted premillennialist view where everything is coming to the Preterist view where everything has been fulfilled. How about something in between. There was four empires described in Daniel's statue and beast prophecy. None was ever a world empire. This is the pattern. A fifth represented by the feet of iron and clay is said by prophecy teachers to be a world ruling government. This doesn't fit the pattern, so why do they teach this?Seven Jewish years has 2550 days (12x30 + a day leap month of 30). Subtract that number from 1948 when Judah became a nation again and you arrive at 602 BC when Jehoiakim rebelled, Nebuchadnezzar became King of Babylon and Judah permanently lost it's sovereignty. A punishment period began of a year for every day in seven years, or a week of years. There's 1260 + the 30 day leap month from 602 to 688 AD when the Dome of the Rock was built and another 1260 years (also called a time times and half a time) to 1948. Is this a coincidence? These and other issues are examined.
