Love and Pain is about one young woman who looks for love, but finds it in the wrong man. Kristen Newman is a twenty year old college student with dreams of becoming a dancer and a school teacher, she made a vow to herself she wouldn’t date until she is finished with school. Yet, all that have changed when Kristen runs into a prominent street hustler named Mario Davis. Kristen is mesmerized by Mario’s decent thuggish swagger, his wit, and his allure. When Kristen and Mario begin to date, Kristen is head over love being with Mario to the point she starts to neglect school, because she wants to be around Mario. However, Kristen isn’t aware that Mario has a devious controlling behavior. Kristen finds herself in the middle of Mario’s wrath to the point she’s stuck in a hard situation. Tired of the pain, the hurt, and the lies thanks to Mario, Kristen runs into her old childhood friend named Tairee Harrison who Kristen views as her knight and shining armor. As soon as Mario finds out about Kristen and Tairee’s relationship, Mario vows to bring heat to both Kristen and Tairee to end their love affair once and for all.
