“Gianni Truvianni’s Great Moment’s In Opera III” is a collection of articles relating to opera along with the many composers and performers who have contributed so much to the art which is still so vibrant in today’s intellectually elite societies. Opera being a form of art which combines Greek drama and tragedy with music of the purest delight to accompany voices to make those who can appreciate such treasures; envision angels and what their melodies would be like if they were only audible to us human beings. Opera having been blessed with many a grand composer through out the centuries the likes of Puccini, Wagner, Verdi, Rossini, Mozart (just to mention a few) along with great interpreters of their works to make their masterpieces shine out as examples of humanity’s glories. It being precisely these great interpreters to include Angela Gheorghiu, Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras, James Levine, Elina Garanca, Anna Netrebko, Juan Diego Florez and Rolando Villazon which are mentioned in my book which merely attempts to present the beauty of opera to those who might have had an urge to simply learn more about a form of art which still holds popularity in today’s world.
