On 3 November Bideford AFC made the 100+ mile journey from North Devon to Earlsmead in South Harrow for a 2nd qualifying round FA Trophy match. Both sides were evenly matched in this competitive but well tempered game. Hendon were reduced to 10 men early on. Bideford lost a player to a red card in the second half. Dave Diedhiou increased his season tally to 6 with a blistering header. The final score finished one nil and stopped Hendon facing a midweek journey to contest the tie once again, Bideford can be proud of their team for their temerity as well as being the only club in the top 7 tiers to remain unbeaten this season until this match.The printed programmes sold out before the match had commenced.
