"This Aimless Age" is a modern drama portraying the plight of a generation struggling to define success in the aftermath of the economic crisis and the effect that an uncertain future may have on the choices they make in their pursuit of happiness.

The story is told through the narrative of the protagonist: Tom. After years of working for little to no pay despite the promise of a successful college career, Tom moves to The San Francisco Bay Area only to enjoy a position where he is for the first time in his life able to begin saving for his future. To no surprise, he finds his friends are in the same precarious situation that he may finally have found his way out of. It is not until he meets Adam, a mysteriously wealthy individual for his age with an even more mysterious past that he begins to truly understand the implications of their dilemma. But when he becomes involved in the duplicitous schemes of his contemporaries, his very own definition of friendship, loyalty, love and happiness is reshaped forever.
