This is a book for parents, a story on how two professional technical parents (a mechanical engineer and a I.T. specialist) dealt with a handled raising an autistic son. This includes both information on diagnosis and what was done for treatment of symptoms of autism and ASD. The title refers to what statisticians and engineers work with in studies a group of things or a "sample size". However, since the parents are only working with ONE autistic child, other procedures and analyses much be done to figure out what to do. The parents use DMAIC, a process used in the quality field, to figure out what to do.
