The Debt

Gerald Woodruff
Amazon Digital Services LLC , English

In life, men acquire debts. These debts are not monetary however. They are debts of honor. When Pedro Escobar feels the heat of the DEA he kidnaps Charles Pettigrew. The Secretary General of the UN uses this to cause trouble for the President Lawren Stephens. Neither Escobar nor the Secretary General knows that the President is friends with James Pettigrew who is Charles grandfather. They do not know that Ken Silvers a veteran of Viet Nam owes both of these men a debt of honor. The President decides to collect on this debt from almost thirty years previous. In the meantime, the CIA Director decides that he does not want to deal with the President and threatens to kill him. Men die but debts are paid. Is it really possible to have cooperation between the media, the President and a hostile Congress? It depends on the ability of people to pay back their debts that they have made.
