I turned and walked back to the way I came, and threw myself at the exact spot that I came in at. I landed awkwardly on my knee, and I looked up hoping to see the ball field, only to see the same man with the bald head looking at me with puzzlement in his eyes. “Nice try kid, you’d think that I wouldn’t have tried that already. I mean really, the first time that one of you came through that was the first thing I thought of. It appears that this rift is a tricky sort; where it appears and disappears at will on different levels of the ship at different times.”
