List 1 of the Scepter of Judah Millennial Literary Project delineates 24 disobediences that countermand the Obedience of the Nations (Genesis 49:10). This passage from the book of Genesis reveals that Messiah, that is Shiloh, will come; then the Obedience of the Nations will have been attained by the saintly powers of Millennial Civilization.
Lawlessness requires a Scepter of Iron that finds its governmental extension in agencies such as the US Department of Defense, the Israel Defense Forces, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Israeli Mossad, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the many other law enforcement organizations throughout Western Civilization.
But the individual's spiritual lawlessness is found in sin, in the daily disobediences of the sinner; corrupt lifestyles are forever countermanded by the saints who have chosen the path to immortality (Proverbs 12:28) by righteousness. Behavioral righteousness is attained with the Help of Almighty God's Holy Spirit, by voluntary penitence, by rational choices that separate us from the domain of corruption and death.
The Grace of God shepherds us away from at least 24 major disobediences that are common to every society and people group, worldwide. As long as we voluntarily fall into these disobediences we will suffer the consequences of sin and disobedience. To die in a state of disobedience is a shame (Daniel 12:2; Isaiah 66:24) not easily overcome were it not for our turning to God Himself (Psalm 22:27,28) with a purpose that is fully complemented by the Power of His Spirit.
The nations will soon disarm (Isaiah 2:4); this is the political obedience most alluded to in Genesis 49:10. But the sinfulness of humankind, its root causation and perennial hopelessness, is found in the 24 misbehaviors delineated in this List 1 of Millennial Civilization.
The global leaders who will have ascended to an incorrupt state of being, the apostolic saints revealed in our Sacred Scripture (Ezekiel 37:12-14; Daniel 7:27; Matthew 19:28; Revelation 7:4-9), are in a state of purely consummate obedience thus empowered to administer the love and wrath of Almighty God in a dying world.
The transformation of societies over the millennia will always be effected by the quiet, often imperceptible Presence (Matthew 27:52,53; Revelation 11:3) of these saintly heirs to Emmanuel's Millennial Civilization. Amen.
