A book of 67 poems for 'old folk' in 146 pages, written by Dr Audrey Coatesworth.

She says'

Over the past few years, since retirement and having the time, I have used my experience and knowledge, gained as a wife, mother, grandmother and psychotherapist, added to some ability to write, to create meaningful poems. The subsequent books 'evolved'.

The poems are now collected in my books for different age groups, namely 3-7years (Poems for 3-7 years), 7-12 years (Growing Up), teenagers (Choice for Teenagers) and adult readers. Having worked extensively with traumatised patients during my year of work, I have compiled two books of poems for grief - one for children (Coping with Illness and Grief) and one for adults (Poems in times of grief).

My books of adult poem books are 'Daily Life, From Darkness to Light, A Spiritual Journey, Kaleidoscope BOOK 1, BOOK 2 and Kaleidoscope :The Collection and Facing each Day. I had thought to stop writing poems at this point - it was not to be!

I had passed through those phases in my life. This one is for the age I am now -as I am one of the 'old folk'. I have written these poems about the 'nothing' but 'everything' of daily life!

I hope they will be read and offer some comfort, be of interest, give 'solidarity' and above all, bring a smile.'
