This world of ours, borne along on a tide of Science, is not the only one. An equal and opposite one, founded on Magic, exists to balance it. One day, far into the future, the two will have developed, through their own paths, to have become the same, then they will naturally fuse and become one ... but there is always someone who can't just be patient and wait. And so it is that a powerful magician in the Magical World now seeks to fuse the two before their time, a joining of two opposites that many consider will result in the complete annihilation of both! Fortunately, a very long time ago, another very powerful magician, a Superiatus, foresaw this unhappy occurrence. His name was Barnstormer and he wrote an ode describing the rise to power of the one who would attempt this blasphemy and also, helpfully, advising what people might do to prevent it. Thank goodness for that! I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
