From 2009 through 2010 I was homeless. During that time I managed to write what would become two books of poetry, dealing with my ups and my downs. Dark Waters was published first and received a nice recognition from the Washington Post. By years end I was able to put together what became this volume called 'Lifeline.' In my poem 'Rebirth' I write:

the world is reborn. . .again
and what I see is the changing hours
the unfolding flowers
budding
sprouting
touching the sun
touching the aging light
brightly shining

That is only a foretaste of what is to come. You will see my pagan leanings all the way through this book. It was truly magical.
