What do others think about IXEOS and author Jennings Wright? What I loved most about this book was the similar feel it had to Falling Skies and The Maze Runner. We have these people, most children, some adults, who are struggling against this oppressive force, and danger everywhere they turn. I would highly recommend this book if you are a fan of young adult dystopian novels. Travis SimmonsEvery once in a while someone comes us with a unique idea. This is one of those times. As an older person I look around at kids and go what would happen if one day they did not have all the givens they have now. Would it make them stronger or weaker? I think this shows that the strength would survive. Can't wait for book 3. E.D. HeadCan't wait to read next book, awesome, don't want to put down, keeps u on your toes trying to figure out next move. Anna A. LymanCould not put it down. Will look for the next one with baited breath. SciFi at its greatest. Sure bet. Donald HoffmanSo what's this unique story? Read on...The McClellands are enjoying a lazy summer vacation at the beach when they are lured from our world into Ixeos, an alternate Earth. With the aid of the tunnels and a mysterious man named Landon, the teens travel the world seeking the key that will allow them to free Darian, the long-imprisoned rebel leader. The aliens aren't the only problem on Ixeos -- the McClellands have to deal with brutal gangs, desperate junkies, and a world without power, where all the technology is owned by the aliens, and where most of the population has been killed or enslaved. The worst part?
