Bears' Year - Nick C Dear

Bears' Year

Nick C Dear
Amazon Digital Services LLC , English

It’s nearly Christmas. Bluey and Brownwell, two small teddy bears, long for a forever home far away from Mr.Fowler, the nasty toy shop owner who makes their lives a misery. After an unhappy festive season with the evil Debbie Davies, they find their dream owner in kind, caring Stacey Knight. But far from leading settled lives, the pair embark on a rollercoaster ride of adventure thanks to the human powers they acquire after exposure to their new owner's magic ring. Now able to walk and talk, Bluey and Brownwell have lots of fun, but danger is never far away in the shape of killer crabs, hotel pools and Halloween masks. The biggest threat to their safety, however, is their jealous former owner who will stop at nothing to reclaim her 'iccle' bears. Abduction and even attempted murder are a justifiable means to an end for this nasty little girl. The scene is set for a final showdown on Bonfire Night after Bluey and Brownwell again fall into Debbie Davies's clutches. Both are seemingly powerless to prevent an unimaginably horrible sequence of events as their distraught owner looks on. Is this the end or can someone or something wipe the horrible smirk off that girl's face ? Will this troublesome but cuddlesome pair ever get to see their second Christmas ? Time is fast running out as the flames grow higher...
