The purpose of this book is to help people develop a new understanding of the phenomenon of AIDS. This new understanding will go far beyond that which we have been given by the media, politicians, physicians, psychologists or churches until now.
Many of the “meditations” in this book are exercises to be put into practical use; they can be used daily. They are aids in creating more harmony, peace, equanimity and self confidence.
They improve one’s understanding of the body, and indicate possibilities for influencing one’s own body in a gentle way.
Philosophy has also not been ignored . . .
This book is a challenge to think, to become creative, and to work. The “meditations” are, for some, a profound pleasure to read.
The author, Moritz Boerner, born 1945, was a director, a university lecturer, and a playwright, and made many television and feature films before turning his attention to humanistic psychology. He has now developed his own form of therapy, and works as a meditation teacher and free-lance journalist in Munich.
