Alice and Her Pupil
By Religious Tract Society
Alice Weston had been very ill. At one time her parents feared she would have died; but God heard their earnest prayers for her, and did not take their little girl from them. She was now slowly getting better but she was still very weak and thin.
Her cheeks were not round and rosy as they used to be. She could not walk far without feeling very tired, and all noisy games, such as playing with a ball or a skipping-rope, were laid aside because she was not strong enough for them.
The classic children fiction in 1874 of the little girl named "Alice", who is not give in her destiny and she has the good faith in her life.
