Looking into the recent researches in the geological structures of the continents, history of natural environment: soil, air, and water, sources of energy during various ages of history, and impact of ice ages on the evolutionary history of the emergence of man over the glob -- the present volume propounds a new theory ''Theory of Orient'' for studying the history of mankind, proposing that: (1) Creation of Man and his physical structure, shape, intelligence, sentiments, and mental disposition are evolved from the local water, air, soil and environment; (2) Mixtures in geological strata of two different continents under the crust of the earth is essential for emergence of man and his growth, and (3) For the existence and conservation of civilization, water from the glaciers and rains from seasonal monsoons are essential. As part of main theory also proposes a sub-theory which states that the four factors: Bharat, the Aryans, the Sanskrit language, and the Vedas, are inseparable and intermixed into each other since their inception. The author uses this sub-set to refute the theory that Aryans came to the continent from outside.
Based on the propounded theory attempts to examine the geological structure and environment of the Indian sub-continent landmass, evolution of Sanskrit language and the Vedas -- to give a new interpretation to the history of Indian civilization. Also includes bibliography.
