The wise women circled the fire. Skyclad, they were chilled by the night air. One of their number, her dark hair turning white, drew close to the young knight. "Welcome, Sir Knight. What do you seek?"

The Empire of the Moon is a collection of the Histories of the Women of Darkness. The Prince of the Isles enters the circle of the Wise Women of the Goddess of the Moon. They promise him power, wealth and renown. They also call the goddess to come to his side.To her his soul is lost.

REVIEWS of the fantasy books written by Jerome Brooke have said of one title:

... I found it to be short but action packed...The characters were interesting...I wasn't to keen on the role that the women played or the Queen who was strong, determined passionate about her people but at the same time self righteous, egotistic, selfish and mean. Yes, the Queen has a lot of sides to her... and I forgot ruthless. Still, I don't think the story would have worked if she was any other way. I enjoyed it. For a short story you won't feel cheated unless you wanted more.
