Many wonder if stress is really necessary in life. What is it about stress that make people get work done or to run from what is going on in life? So understanding what stress is and how it affects you will make all the difference in how stress works in your life. Stress is said to be negativity in a person’s life that affects them mentally and physically. So understanding what stresses you out and how to overcome it will make all the difference.There are ways to deal with stress and to make it work positively for you, not just negatively. When you make stress work for you, you will be able to rest and enjoy life. Matthew 11:28-30 days, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (NIV) When you know where to get your strength and help, you won’t be as stressed and will be able to accomplish more out of life. Knowing when to pray and what to ask for, you will find you will do better with stress. Isaiah 33:2 says, “Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.” (NIV) The Lord knows when we are stressed and wants to help us out, if we will allow him to. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (NIV) Knowing where to go to get help and strength can make all the difference when it comes to dealing with stress. Knowing how to deal with stress can make all the difference in how it affects you. When you know how to make stress work for you instead of against you, you will be able to go farther, do more while taking care of your mental and physical health. It is always a good thing to know what stresses you and how you can deal with it. It will take some time to figure this out, but once you know, you will feel better overall. Stress may be caused from something tangible or intangible, so make sure you know what causes yours and what you need to do to keep either thing from stressing you out.
