Beth is just fourteen and in the ninth grade. Her age alone is enough of a problem, then add a new kid in school that she has to drag along with her and show him the school. Yuck! Chad has pimples, is skinny and pale and to top it off, his hair stands straight up in clumps. Like most kids, she soon makes fun of him and gives him the name of 'Sticky Boy' because he seems to be stuck to her like glue. As each day goes by, she feels doomed as long as Chad follows her until the day he stops. Now, maybe the other kids will stop teasing her. With Chad out of school, Beth soon finds out why and learns a very important life lesson. She realizes bullies come in all sizes and shapes and she was the one who started it all. Now, if only she can find Chad in time and apologize. What she finds is a friend and more importantly, how to be one.
A story of friendship, trust and the willingness to go above and beyond.
