William Taylor Adams (July 30, 1822 – March 27, 1897) was an American novelist, used pen name as Oliver Optic. He wrote over 100 books, his well-known novels were the two “Blue & Gray” series, which were set during the Civil War. The Essential William Taylor Adams Collection contains 10 books, includes:
