Monsters of the Underground is the fourth part of The Wizard and the Dragon story. It follows the story of Bryce, a boy who survived an attack on his village by a dragon. He finds a safe haven in a tower found in the forest near his former home. Within it, he has been taught the basics of magic and became an apprentice wizard.

Part Four finds Bryce alone in the tower for the first time. He is unprepared and struggles to survive on his own for the first time in his life. The tower should have been a place of peace and protection for the boy, but there are things that live in the tunnels under the tower. Things that are vicious, monstrous, and hungry.

Monsters of the Underground length: 18,000 words.
