“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
I stared at the question for a few minutes and sighed. I had no idea what I wanted to do outside of high school. College sure, but what would I major in? I smiled and finally picked up my pen.
“Alive.” I answered honestly; Finn laughed.
Layna loves art, music, and a boy she has only talked to through their high schools instant messenger. But when she does meet him she knows things are going to be far more complicated than either of them ever imagined.
Finn has a reputation but in truth there's only one girl he wants to be with. After running, literally, into Layna there is no one else he can see himself with. Well except for the girl on the other end of the instant messages he's constantly checking for messages from.
Growing up happens quickly; even faster when a tragic accident leaves everything you love hanging in the balance.
