Robert William Chambers (May 26, 1865 – December 16, 1933) was an American artist and writer. His most famous novel is The King in Yellow, an 1895. His later novels selling well and achieving best-seller status, The Fighting Chance in 1905, The Younger Set in 1907, The Common Law in 1911 and In Secret in 1919.
