After the 9-11 terrorist attack, Osama bin Laden said that the world was now divided into two; the Islam world and the Christian world. In the book called If the World Were a Village of 100 People, 33 are Christian, 19 are Muslim and six Buddhist. Even these six people are diminishing now. Osama bin Laden’s prediction may come true in the near future. Politics, economics, education, and medical issues are all human activities. Buddhism is the only teaching that sheds light on human beings. Therefore, I don’t think any teachings other than Buddhism can solve the various issues facing humankind.
Further, there is no Buddhism. The natural law that applies to all beings in this universe was discovered by one individual 2,500 years ago and was later called Buddhism. The point is that there is no happiness other than realizing the law with our whole existence. Without realizing the law, there is no way to realize true freedom, equality and peace.
In this confused world, I published this book hoping that this law might be known by more people.
