"I Hate Apple"™

Apple.

The reasons to hate Apple are many. I hate Apple, because Apple executives purposefully deprive states of tax money and consequently harm citizens. Apple executives allow employees in their supply chain to be poisoned. Apple executives use false marketing. Apple executives harm the industry. I believe Apple executives hate developers and there are substantive information for me to believe that Apple executives hate consumers.

Apple.

Crapple. Scrapple. Trapple. Crackintosh. Hackintosh. Lackintosh. Quackintosh. Wackintosh. Cryphone. Crypad. Crymac. Crymac Mini. Crypod Touch. Crypod Nano. Crypod Classic. Crypod Shuffle. Crytunes.

These are obvious plays on words I, as a consumer, refer to, when I disapprove of something related to Apple. All of these words can be found through the usage of search engines on websites in messages written by consumers and in articles written by pundits and all of these words are used negatively against Apple. I believe the reason for this is that it is easy to voice disapproval and ridicule Apple's brands, when consumers consider themselves justified to demean Apple. This may be done by posting negative comments or writing negative articles on websites, which is a frequent behavior among consumers, by evidence of the large amount of negative comments. Is this behavior childish? Yes, but is this behavior also intuitive? Yes. This requires one to consider the importance of the issue. I believe that the issue is important, because there is power in intuition. Intuition strongly affects consumer choice in buying a particular product or not and it strongly affects consumers actively spreading bad word of mouth about a brand or not.

One question that has not been asked yet is "Why?". What are the reasons for expressing disapproval towards Apple? Apple has been blamed for a lot of negative things, this happens often, and as a result, many consumers hate the company, the brand, the executives, the employees, and the representatives. I believe this has been fueled by repeated news coverage of negative actions, behavior, and comments made by representatives and executives of Apple. Consumers voice their opinions on line, but despite the availability of factual actions committed and actual behavior displayed through Apple by representatives and employees of the company, these facts are not always referenced to. The result is a lack of factual basis in many of the negative opinions towards Apple. I know that I have been guilty of putting subjectivity before facts, but because of this, I decided to write this book in an attempt to answer the question I have asked myself many times: "Why do I hate Apple?". The purpose of this book is to clarify and document the dislike and hatred towards Apple, based on my opinion, on other people's opinions, and on news coverage.
