Breaking the Mould - Peter A Hunter

Breaking the Mould

Sterling Publishers Pvt Ltd , English

The Human Resource is the most vital ingredient in any organisation. Yet, the involvement of the workforce is often overlooked and they are denied the necessary support, encouragement and respect which are essential to improve their performance levels and in turn, the productivity that concerns management.

Breaking the Mould is a collection of stories that relate to different situations in the workplace from the South American jungle to the northern North Sea where certain changes in attitudes and relationships had broken the mould. It is all about the empowerment of people – giving them the power to change their world and treating them as a valuable asset.

This book highlights the performance improvements which occur when people take ownership and how one can easily create such conditions in any work situation, be it on shop floor or in the office. Its anecdotal style and lack of jargon will appeal to a wide audience, not only to management institutions and educational establishments, but also to the common man who has been shouted at and always told what to do.
