The goal of this program is to improve management of depression and hypogonadism in men. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:

1: Distinguish major depression from demoralization and dysthymia.

2: Recognize the limitations of data from clinical trials in determining appropriate treatment of depression.

3: Identify causes of treatment failure in patients with depression.

4: Select appropriate tests for the diagnosis of hypogonadism.

5: List contraindications of testosterone replacement therapy.
