Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

Educational Objectives
The goal of this program is to improve management of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Recognize the interrelationship between PTSD and traumatic brain injuries.
2. Identify effective elements of treatment for PTSD.
3. Provide psychotherapy based on methodologies proven to help patients with PTSD.
4. Reduce core symptoms of PTSD through the use of pharmacotherapy.
5. Augment psychotherapy for PTSD through the use of adjunctive medications.
