Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.
Audio-Digest Psychiatry is specifically designed to provide the participant with useful and up-to-date information on accurate diagnosis and appropriate management in all types of psychiatric disorders, including, but not limited to:

Mental disorders in childhood and adolescence

Substance-related disorders
The goals of this program are to improve the diagnosis and treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and prevent misuse of medications commonly used to treat ADHD. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Distinguish between clinical subtypes of ADHD.
2: Diagnose ADHD in adults.
3: Identify comorbidities frequently associated with ADHD.
4: Prescribe medications shown to effectively treat ADHD symptoms in adult patients.
5: Prevent diversion and abuse of stimulant medications.
