Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

The goals of this program are to improve the management of symptoms related to menopause and perimenopause, and of sleep disorders. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Recognize physical and emotional symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.
2: Treat depression and anxiety related to perimenopause or menopause.
3: Utilize screening and bioidentical hormones to reduce risks associated with hormone replacement therapy.
4: Provide safe and effective treatment for insomnia.
5: Describe physiologic mechanisms involved in both sleeping and waking.
