Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.
Audio-Digest Psychiatry is specifically designed to provide the participant with useful and up-to-date information on accurate diagnosis and appropriate management in all types of psychiatric disorders, including, but not limited to:

Substance-related disorders
The goals of this program are to improve treatment of borderline personality disorder and to provide guidance on efficient use of clinical research data in psychiatric practice. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Differentiate among medications for treatment of borderline personality disorder.
2: Implement a strategy of combining medication with psychosocial therapy for treatment of borderline personality disorder.
3: Describe a pilot study utilizing a "stepped" approach to treatment of borderline personality disorder.
4: Utilize systematic reviews to keep abreast of current research.
5: Evaluate medical literature for relevance to clinical practice.
