Veronica considers herself a moral person who always thinks ahead and does the right thing. Seven years into a marriage that is less than satisfactory, however, she ends up in the midst of an affair with the worst candidate: Chad, the man who is married to her best friend. Overwhelmed with guilt and confusion, she knows that the affair is wrong, and that it has to stop. Keeping her from ending it is her gut feeling that the man married to her best friend truly belongs with her. Veronica and Chad must decide whether to end the affair that feels so right and go back to the lives that feel so wrong, or to uproot their entire lives and lose everything they had worked so hard to achieve for a shot at a life together. Neither decision will be easy, and both bring dangerous and heart-breaking consequences. Regardless, neither Veronica or Chad can leave the affair before it completely transforms their lives.
