All who enjoy Hollywood’s “B” westerns will find plenty to engage their interest in this little book which not only provides full cast and credit details of 68 must-see movies in this field, but reviews and background information as well. Why 68? The author felt he could not stop at 50. There were films he just had to include – among them a couple of personal favorites that are not yet available on DVD, plus two or three “A” attractions that he just couldn’t leave out. The author’s only regret is that he was not able to include more of Roy Rogers. Sad to say, unlike almost every other cowboy hero, most of Roy’s movies are unavailable on DVD, except for dreadful, impossible-to-watch, black and fuzzy, TV cutdowns. (25,424 words). (91 pages).
