Ric is celebrating his 32nd birthday with his wife Tori when a conversation about fantasies goes a tad further than either of them had expected.
Excerpt;
"What were we talking about again?" Ric asked after they had calmed down. He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye. His stomach hurt from laughter.
"Kinky sex fantasies" Tori replied nonchalantly.
"Oh yeah. Well, hmm..." said Ric as he considered the question.
Tori watched her husband intently, the dramatic conclusion of the episode in the background completely ignored and forgotten.
"I don't know" Ric admitted after a minute, more than a little conscious of her gaze.
"Really?" Tori asked, almost seeming disappointed.
"Well, I guess seeing you with another woman is one" Ric offered, cautiously throwing out a softball.
"Anyone you have in mind?" Tori asked, curious as she considered the thought and what it would be like, tipping back her glass.
"I'm not really sure..." Ric said, trailing off. Actually, he knew exactly the woman he had in mind because she had, much to Ric's great embarrassment, made a number of appearances in his fantasies. The older married Asian couple they shared a wall with had an incredibly gorgeous twenty year old daughter named Lu that attended the local University. Ric had long since admitted to himself that part of the reason she was so attractive to him was because she greatly resembled his old high school crush.
Tori cocked an eyebrow at him, sensing that he was holding back.
"Who?" she repeated the question, somehow hearing the unspoken portion of Ric's response. Though he was a little cautious (understandably), one of Tori's best qualities was her open-mindedness. More importantly, she was slow to anger. Despite knowing this, Ric couldn't help but feel like he was juggling chainsaws while walking along an unravelling tightrope.
"You know Lu, right?" Ric asked.
"Yeah" Tori said, expecting him to continue.
The silence that followed Ric's question was both conspicuous and damning.
"You gross pig!" Tori said as she threw a cushion that bounced off his head.
