When you were a child, do you remember being asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Adults ask that one specific question because it’s one of the few questions that are safe to ask? They really don’t care about the child’s career choice; it’s just a question that both child and adult can relate to. It’s a question that I often thought about because even though I’m now in my 60s I’m not quite sure what I want to do when (or if) I ever decide to grow up.
