Outside the city of Charleston, WV lurks a doer of good through evil. He’s a corrupt individual’s worst enemy as well as that of the police looking for him.

For the corrupt he is their judge, jury and executioner. He decides that if what they are doing, with or without public knowledge, is harmful enough to warrant the most severe of punishments – The Death Penalty!!! Will what you’re doing get you in more trouble than if you were caught by the authorities and are these judgments being made by a ‘mob hit’ man or a ‘serial killer’?

For the police he leaves nothing behind but the slug used to kill the victim with. But can we call them victims? The word ‘victims’ exudes an air of innocence and none of those killed, by this sniper, are innocent. In one way or another none of those shot were innocent. They had bent the law to the point of breaking it too many times that they probably don’t deserve another shot at going ‘straight’. But should that decision be left up to a single person? Even if the authorities aren’t aware of the corruptor’s deeds, should they be executed as a penalty for their wrong doings? Should they be allowed to be judged by a jury of their peers after being tipped off by this sniper, instead of shooting them outright? But will the justice served by a court really fit the crime they may have committed, because remember we are all ‘supposed to be’ presumed innocent until proven guilty. But let’s face it, in this world with all the media outlets of television, newspapers, internet, tabloid magazines and the list goes on of the ability to perpetuate prejudices of innocence or guilt preceding a trial is anybody really presumed innocent until proven guilty? These people are potentially ruining people of the general public’s lives so why not let this sniper exact his sense of justice. There are a few, law enforcement personnel, who want to exact their type of justice on the sniper. So if what is “good for the goose is good for the gander” theory is applied to the chase for the sniper how is it not allowed be applied in the other direction in the sniper’s pursuit of justice, no matter how much finality it brings.

There are all sorts of justice being sought from a sniper, police and the public. Have there been incidental shootings, by the sniper, that those shot are questionable as to their deeds being as corrupt as some of the other individuals in what they have done ‘allegedly’ wrong.

I guess we’ll all see who gets what justice exacted upon them in the end. Will the sniper be caught with his weapon matched to that of the bullets left behind at the scenes and put to death himself, be killed in a shootout with police or not get caught at all?

Do children have to be harmed or die because of negligence of others and should those who are negligent be held accountable in the way they are? Is the killer revealed and caught. That’s a mystery that will have to be found out by reading this book.
