Michael Murphy has a tortured soul. He is 32 but he has never really had a real job. He probably could have had one if circumstances had been different but he never has. He has never been short of money though. In fact he has probably spent more money than anyone else I know. He has always had things going on that have seen him alright. Michael Murphy’s mind is probably one of the most difficult you could try to understand. That is what makes Urban Poems so special. It is an insight into a head that you would rarely get a chance to see, let alone understand. Anyone who knows Michael Murphy would tell you that he would be the last person they know who they would expect to write a poem. But then about six months ago that’s what he did.
