Jodruth Ford has lived many lives. As he approaches the end of his present life--that of an isolated school teacher in the Wyoming wilderness--vague memories of other lives, from his primordial beginning to that of the present, begin to emerge from the deep recesses of his mind. As he approaches death, a voice from his boyhood with its accompanying tragedy beckons him to the next quest in the progress of his eternal soul.Death is a great adventure into the realm known only to the soul. Within the concept of multiple lives, the soul progesses toward its ultimate fullfilment--reunion with the universal spirit. The journey of the soul begins in darkness, progresses through different lifetimes and different personalitites, sometimes regressing but always advancing toward the white light of comprehension, that of a journey into universal consciousness. After following several previous lives of Jodruth (his soul), the book concentrates on the present lifetime of Jodruth from birth to impending death.
