The Ninja warrior Chihiro Kitagawa witnesses the murder of the wife of rancher Adam Steele, they join forces to take on the psychotic Jubal Kane and his men, to avenge Adams wife and save the town of Fort Blaine from Kane's madness.
This is the first published in a series of books following the adventures of the Ninja warrior Chihiro kitagawa. Sent to America by his Sensei and clan leader to apprehend a renegade Ninja. Like David Carradine's Kung Fu on steroids, it delivers a visual kick in the teeth. This is actually the second book in the series as the first is going to be printed in a collection of stories titled Action: Pulse pounding tales Vol 1 by Matt Hilton, to be published sometime in April 2012. Because I had so much fun writing the story I decided to serialize more adventures with the Character.. Just like the old penny dreadfuls if any of you can remember them. A penny dreadful (also called penny horrible, penny awful, penny number and penny blood was a type of British fiction publication in the 19th century that usually featured lurid serial stories appearing in parts over a number of weeks, each part costing an (old) penny. The term, however, soon came to encompass a variety of publications that featured cheap sensational fiction, such as story papers and booklet "libraries". The penny dreadfuls were printed on cheap pulp paper and were aimed primarily at working class adolescents.
Do you have any familiarity with the 1970s action books typified by Don Pendleton's Mack Bolan or the Destroyer series by Warren Smith and Richard Sapir, or the UK home grown westerns by the Piccadilly cowboys, those were the days when heroes were heroes, and the action full blooded and ferocious, were they great fun, betcha bottom dollar they were.
Any way, enough jawing from me step inside and hopefully enjoy the book and also look out for when the next one is published.
