Author’s Forward: Why I Wrote This Book

About 2 years ago I came across the book “Planet X Forecast and 2012 Survival Guide” by Jacco van der Worp and Marshall Masters. It had a great title, a sense of urgency and I immediately purchased it and read it. It was a shock to find out how many people were expecting 2012 to bring about the end of the world. The ideas in the book swept me away and filled me with panic. With two young adult children I wanted to ensure their safety. I also wanted to live long enough to see them have their own families so I started doing research into surviving the expected Armageddon. These ideas scared my children very much because they took them seriously and because they believed every word I said. They kept asking me if I was sure disasters were coming. They kept telling me they were scared. No matter how much I promised them I wouldn’t allow any harm to come to them, the closer 2012 came, the more worried they got. So I promised them that I would do some research and try to find out the truth.
The inconsistencies started piling up pretty soon and I realized that this was just another prophecy that was going to go unfulfilled. All clues point to the fact that we won’t die horrible deaths this year. There is nothing to worry about. Read for yourself and discover that we’ll be safe at least through this Armageddon.
