I read the news on my computer almost every day. I skim over the usual headlines but get deep into the weeds on articles having to do with financial matters, in particular, the personal financial management issues dealing with retirement planning and retirees.

The great recession that started sometime around 2007, and that is still going on as I write this today in early 2012, forced many retirees back into the workforce and forced even more of those approaching retirement age to change their plans and keep working.
